AUGUST MONTHLY CHALLENGE: Create a Scene Challenge!

These are pictures of our Shasta trailer from 1964.  We camped at Los Padres National Forest near Santa Barbara, California.  I used my Imagine for all the patterned paper and background paper.  Most of the images are from Pop Up Neighborhood cartridge.  The title and date are from Mickey Font cartridge.

Weekly Challenge #38 - Vacation Memories Challenge!

The Challenge: It’s the end of the Summer and hopefully, you have had a chance to sneak in a getaway or two. This challenge is all about tackling those vacation photos before they get lost in a drawer or shoved in a box somewhere. We want you to create a scrapbook page or mini album recording one of your vacation memories from this past Summer. Weren’t able to sneak away . . . that’s okay! Find some photos from a past vacation that you haven’t scrapbooked yet and get busy! We can’t wait to see what you create!
Rules and Guidelines: Circle Blog Challenges are open to Cricut Circle Members only. Your project must be newly created for this challenge and include atleast 2 Cricut Image Cuts. You must submit a project to be entered into the Challenge Prize Drawing. One entry per person, please.

This is a layout of our 2005 Maine vacation.  I used my Imagine for all the paper, the banner, the sailboat and the sun!

Weekly Challenge #37: Technique Challenge!

For Challenge #37, we had to create something using one of the techniques the Design Team showcased.  I chose to use the embossed vellum technique.  I cut out a four layer flower (2 paper layers and 2 vellum layers) and embossed the vellum using Swiss Dots Cuttlebug folder.
